Built from real reps
The idea came from the batting cage, where players wear through gloves during the work that makes them better.
Throughout my baseball career, I took pride in taking thousands of practice swings. Like most players, I constantly wore through batting gloves, especially during batting practice and cage work.
One day before a game, my teammates and I were joking around in the batting cages using a pair of batting gloves that had ripped through. We flipped the gloves over and started using the side that wasn't worn out.
That's when the idea hit me.
Why couldn't a batting glove be designed to be used on both sides?
That simple moment sparked the idea for what would become the world's first double-sided practice batting glove.
I went home after the game and immediately began building what is now More Swings.
Today, More Swings is built around one simple mission: help players get more swings, extend the life of their batting gloves, and spend more time developing their game.
